The Audio Playback Unit was designed for use in a public transport passenger information system. It is a daughter card containing some Flash memory and a filtered DAC.

This was a very straightforward project. The design was simple and the customer, who knew exactly what they wanted, provided a precise requirement specification.

We felt that in this instance the design could be best proven with a test card. The test card is designed to provide automated pass/fail production testing as well as lower level diagnostic functions suitable for setting to work and fault finding.

This project shows our ability to respond to relatively simple but well defined requirements.
